The Hanna Group is currently providing Construction Management services to the City of Burlingame on the Storm Water Retention Basin at the Wastewater Treatment Facility Project.

The project entails removing an existing water treatment facility and installing a State of the Art Water Retention Basin. The Water Retention Basin is being constructed to meet the “San Francisco Baykeepers” edict to ensure the cleanliness of water leaving City of Burlingame facilities and entering the Bay.

THG’s scope of work consisted of providing Construction Management services including but not limited to the following:

  • Resident Engineering
  • Construction Inspection
  • Contract Change Orders
  • CPM Schedule Review
  • Submittal and RFI Review
  • Design Changes
  • SRF Loan Funding Compliance

Items of work included pump installation; electrical panel, conduit, and wiring installation; piling, concrete basin installation, fence replacement, masonry building installation, and correspondence with all stakeholders including, PG&E, City Sewer, Wastewater Facility Operators, and local businesses.

This project was financed through funding from a California Regional Water Quality Control Board State Revolving Fund (SRF) Agreement.
